Professor Fock Kwong Ming is a clinical professor with the Faculty of Medicine of National University of Singapore, Adjunct Professor of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore, SingHealth Emeritus Consultant. He serves as Counselor of APSDE, Member of the WGO Colorectal Cancer Screening Committee.
Professor Fock was Chairman of the Medical Board of Changi General Hospital from 1999 to 2007; Senior Consultant in the Office of the Director of Medical Services in the Ministry of Health from December 2007 to November 2015. He was Master of the Academy of Medicine Singapore from 2008 to 2010; Group Chief Risk Officer of Singhealth from 2009 to 2012; President of Asia Pacific Digestive Week Federation from 2010 to 2014; and board member of MAX Healthcare Institute Ltd. from 2011 to 2016.
Professor Fock has authored more than 180 papers and presented at numerous Gastroenterology conferences and seminars. His research interests include gastroenterology, GI cancers, healthcare issues – “Healthcare in Singapore: ‘The Present and the Future’” in 2014 and “‘It ain’t over…till it’s over!’ Risk-mitigation strategies for patients with gastrointestinal diseases in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic” in 2020.
