Yung Ho Chang is Principal Architect of Atelier Feichang Jianzhu (FCJZ), Professor and former Head at MIT Architecture Department and Professor of Tongji University.

He has received numerous awards, including First Place in the Shinkenchiku Design Competition in 1987, the 2000 UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of the Arts, and the Academy Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2006. 2016 China Architecture Media Award Practical Achievement Award. Since 2011-2017, he became a Pritzker Architecture Prize Jury member.

He has published a collection of his essays entitled Yung Ho Chang Writes and other books/monographs. He held solo exhibitions, most recently at UCCA in Beijing in 2012, and has also participated in numerous international art and architecture exhibitions and biennials, including six times in Venice Biennale since 2000.
