Modern Weekly is China’s most influential lifestyle publication with circulation over 860,000 copies. Under Yeh’s editorial direction, it reaches China’s elite readers with the latest international news, trends, phenomena and discussion in the fields of Style and Culture. In October 2013,Yeh extends its creative panache and unique editorial point-of-view to digital platform and launched iFASHION, the first fashion video and moving images-based mobile app in China. Yeh moved to Shanghai in 2003 for the preparation of Vogue China launch. Before moving to China, she has launched aRUDE magazine in New York (1994) and GQ Taiwan (1996). In 2005, Yeh helmed communication in China for Prada before joined Modern Media Group in 2006.
Yeh is China’s key opinion leader on Fashion and Design. She spoke on forums at China Fashion Designers Association, The Wolpole British Luxury, Hong Kong Art Fair and served as Jury for Swiss Textile Fashion Award, Rado Young Design Prize, Asian WSJ Innovation award etc. She curates “Tribute Song, China’s First Fashion Icon” at Museum of Central Academy of Art, (Beijing 2010), co-presents 9 Chinese fashion designers with Nicola Formichetti during New York Fashion Week (New York, 2011) and “A plus, an exhibition of art and style by China’s new fashion talents” at Lane Crawford (Beijing, 2011). In 2012 she starts the digital style platform iTV and curated “Dressing the Screen:UK and China fashion films exhibition” at Ullens Center of Art (Beijing).In 2013, with the launch of iFASHION, she curated a special section “Fashion Films from China” for ASVOFF at Pompidou Center in Paris. Yeh has played a crucial role in developing fashion media in China and oversees a vast portfolio of digital and print publications, and she is part of the BoF 500 in 2014, as the key person shaping the global fashion industry.
