Michael Brennan is the Vice President of Novozymes, overseeing China business operations in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Technical Service across different industries.

Mr. Brennan comes from a Baking, Flour Milling and general Food Technology background and was a consultant in Asia Pacific, serving multinational companies (including at the time Novo Nordisk and Novozymes) for nearly 6 years. He has also been the owner and joint Director/Managing Director of 3 separate companies in Australia. He joined Novozymes in China as Senior Technical Service Engineer for the Cereal Food business of China, Asia Pacific and Middle East in 2003. In 2005, he was transferred to Austria as an Industry Sales Manager and soon took up the regional Sales Director role in 2007 which is responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In 2012, Mr. Brennan returned to Novozymes taking up the role of the Vice President of Novozymes handling China region’s business.
