Edgar Tung is the Chairman of Youth Arch Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims at identifying and developing young leaders. He also currently serves as the Managing Director of Group HR, Organization Development and Communications at Esquel Group. He was with Esquel as Director of Sales from 2002 and 2007, responsible for customers in the USA and Asia.

From 2007 and prior to rejoining Esquel in 2013, Edgar served as CEOs and Executive Directors of a number of companies, including an apparel technology service provider, a quality assurance and laboratory testing company, and a listed food and beverage retailer. Edgar’s early experiences also include the founding of an Internet start-up powering performance-based online marketing in Greater China, structuring of equity derivatives products for institutional and high net-worth clients, as well as coordinating the design and launch of Hong Kong’s Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) System as an administrative officer of the Hong Kong Government.

Edgar is a frequent speaker at apparel and youth forums. He was named one of China’s Most Innovative Leaders by Innovation China in 2009.

Edgar holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and BEng from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London University. Edgar is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
