Herman Chan is the Director of Symmpix, an ambitious startup under the Tessellation Group. Symmpix specializes in crafting digital solutions for the fashion industry, utilizing innovative AI and 3D modelling techniques to enhance creativity, increase design efficiency, streamline processes, and expedite time-to-market, all with a focus on a sustainable and inclusive future.

With over 20 years of operational experience, Herman brings a wealth of knowledge to his leadership role. Prior to heading Symmpix, he served as the Group Director of the Technical Centre of Excellence, where he spearheaded the development of methodologies to optimize processes by harmoniously integrating people, knowledge information and technology. This role allowed him to hone his strategic thinking skills and deepen his understanding of operational efficiency.

Herman received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Manufacturing System Engineering from The University of Hong Kong. Beyond his academic credentials, Herman is a committed Lean Practitioner and a proactive change agent. He doesn’t confine his knowledge to theory and textbooks. Instead, he actively applies the lean philosophy to real-world process problems and drive continuous improvement. His approach is defined by a relentless drive for continuous improvement and a dedication to fostering a culture of excellence.
