Hui Huang
Hui Huang is the co-founder and CEO of CoolCharacter Inc. (“CoolCharacter” or the “Company”), an organization that promotes Chinese traditional culture, with a particular focus on the origin and stories behind Chinese characters.
Prior to founding CoolCharacter, Hui was the chief financial officer of Renren Inc. (NYSE: RENN), a leading social network internet company in China. Earlier in her career, Hui worked primarily in the private equity investment industry including Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area and Johnson Electric Capital Limited. She started her career with The Boston Consulting Group in 1994.
Hui received a bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a China fellow of The Aspen Institute.
