Mr. Li Ning is the Founder of LI-NING Brand, Group Executive Chairman and Executive Director of the Li-Ning Company, and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Viva China Holdings.

As one of the most outstanding athletes in the 20th century, Mr. Li earned the title “Prince of Gymnastics” and was voted as one of the “World’s Most Excellent Athletes in the 20th Century” by the World Sports Correspondent Association.

Since retiring from his athlete career, in a quest to create the first Chinese national sporting goods brand, Mr. Li founded Li-Ning Company Limited. Over the past two decades, Mr. Li has made outstanding contributions to the development of China’s sporting goods industry.

Mr. Li engages actively in philanthropy through the “Li Ning Foundation,” establishing “The Chinese Athletes Educational Foundation” to help subsidize education and training for athletes and to support educational development in China’s underprivileged areas. Mr. Li was appointed by The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) as China’s first “WFP Goodwill Ambassador Against Hungers”.
