Truong Dinh Tuyen
Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Vietnam

Truong Dinh Tuyen is currently a senior member of the National Council for Sustainability and Competitiveness, a member of the National Advisory Council for Financial and Monetary Policies, a Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Vietnam. He started his career in the private sector, serving as the CEO of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) during 1980s, before becoming the Vice Minister, and then Minister of Trade in 1990s. He was the chief architect leading Vietnam’s negotiation for WTO accession. After retiring from the political career, he has been serving in various high-level advisory councils to the government leaders. Mr. Tuyen holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Economic Management from the former Soviet Union.
