Chef Gael Moureau was appointed as the corporate executive chef of the group in 2014. Prior to his current position, he was the executive chef of Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong. During his tenure with the group, he has worked in various Shangri-La hotels throughout Asia including China, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Gael worked in his native France at Michelin starred restaurants such as Restaurant Roger Verge and Le Moulin de Mougins. His career has taken him to different parts of the world including Japan, Turkey and Peru.
Chef Gael has a passion for culinary excellence with an emphasis on healthy and light cuisine. With culinary experience from all over the world, he brings a new approach to different regional specialties, using the freshest ingredients.
